Computer requirements

Modems must be at least 28.8 baud. Operation systems must have at least 16 MB RAM, 40 MB hard drive space and a CD-ROM drive. PC systems need Windows XP or newer, and Apple computers need an operating system of OS X or newer.

Usage policies

TIES accounts may be used only by the subscriber and members of their immediate family. Use of a TIES account by unauthorized persons will result in service termination. Concurrent logins of the same account are not permitted. Unattended use of a TIES account (line camping) is strictly prohibited. All noninteractive processes may be terminated. Bots and spamming are prohibited. A $15 disconnect fee is charged for early termination.
