Mail for Android

1. Tap the Email icon on the home screen.
2. When prompted, enter your TIES email address and password.
3. Tap Next.
4. When asked What type of account is this?, tap IMAP.
5. You will now need to provide the incoming server settings:
   • Username: Automatically filled in with your TIES login name (just the part before the @ sign)
   • Password: Automatically filled in with your TIES password
   • IMAP server: imap.ties2.net
   • Port: Automatically filled in with 143
   • Security type: Automatically filled in with None
   • IMAP path prefix: Leave this blank
6. Tap Next
7. On the Outgoing server settings screen, fill in the following:
   • SMTP server: mail.ties2.net
   • Port: Automatically filled in with 587
   • Security type: Automatically filled in with None
   • Requires sign-in: This should be checked.
   • Username: Automatically filled in with your TIES login name
   • Password: Automatically filled in with your TIES password
8. Tap Next.
9. On the Account options screen, you will see these settings:
   • Inbox checking frequency: You can leave this at Every 15 minutes
   • Send email from this account by default: This should be checked
   • Notify me when email arrives: You can leave this checked (the default)
10. Tap Done. Your account has now been added and is ready to use.
