Mail for iOS (iPod, iPhone, and iPad)

1. Tap the Settings icon on the home screen.
2. Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Under the Accounts section, tap Add Account.
4. For the type of account, tap Other.
5. Under the Mail section, tap Add Mail Account.
6. You will now need to provide your basic e-mail settings:
   • Name: Your name (as you'd like it to appear to other people when you send mail)
   • Address: yourtieslogin@ties2.net
   • Password: Your TIES password
   • Description: TIES (this is to help you identify it if you have multiple accounts)
7. Tap Next.
8. Ensure IMAP is selected (blue) at the top of the screen.
9. Under the Incoming Mail Server section, fill in the following:
   • Host Name: imap.ties2.net
   • User name: Your TIES login name (just the part before the @ sign)
   • Password: Should be filled in automatically from the previous screen
10. Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, fill in the following:
    • Host Name: mail.ties2.net
    • User Name: Your TIES login name
    • Password: Your TIES password
11. Tap Next. It will say Verifying.
12. When it asks Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?, tap Yes. It will go back to Verifying.
13. It will ask the same question a second time - tap Yes again. (One is for receiving mail and one is for sending.)
14. When it finishes verifying your settings, tap Save. Your account has now been added and is ready to use.
15. Close the Settings app and open the Mail app to start sending and receiving mail.
